Artificial tree bark - A rubber mould is made of the bark of a real tree. It is then removed, laid open and a foam is spread over the mould to re-create the bark of the tree. Applied artificial bark - used for a SELFRIDGES photo shoot - Artificial bark is wrapped around a polysculpted tree (strengthed with steel tubing) to replicate a real tree. This is then painted and real branches added to create the desired shape and form required by the customer. The mould process is intended to make the whole structure lighter and easily transported.
